How we keep you and your experiences safe -

1.

All services and communication with Patchwork Mind is entirely confidential. We are governed by our ethical code of conduct, which does not allow breach of confidentiality unless there are extenuating circumstances/legal requirements

2.

Our organisation is neuroaffirming and is committed to offering care that does not take away the respect, agency and autonomy of neurodivergent people. We DO NOT follow ABA or any other forms of therapy that are focused on making neurodivergent people behave in neurotypical ways.

3.

We do not promise "quick results" or "fixes". We believe in building sustainable, life-long support systems for you, that you can implement on your own without our consistent support. Neurodivergence, especially, is not something that can be "fixed". We are a neuro-affirming practice.

4.

We absolutely do not believe that we know your story better than you. Every plan, every strategy, every support system that we build, will be co-designed and co-created by you. You are the expert of your story.

We will review our plans as needed and assess whether we need to make changes, what life circumstances have changed, if the systems in place are working etc. and make the necessary changes to it.

Once we come to a decision on the services required, payment is made and we can start working together.
